Paraiso De Las Sirenas
Located at Isla Navidad just 25 minutes from the Manzanillo Playa De Oro International Airport, and 1 mile from Isla Navidad 27-hole Robert von Hagge course.
Sea life abounds in this area with Dolphins, Whales, Turtles, tropical fish and Sport fish.
There are many international sports held here annually, fishing golfing, boating, sailing, and scuba diving.
Fishing tournaments held here annually and Barra De Navidad the third week of January. Only 15 minutes drive from Paradise of the mermaids
Manzanillo international tournament is around the first week of November, valid fish are: Sailfish, Marlin, Gold fish, Tuna fish, Wahoo and Roosterfish. Only 45 minutes drive from Paradise of the mermaids.
Polo season runs from November to April, in the Costa Careyes polo club, players practice four times a week with as many of 60 horses. It is only 1 hour 30 minutes drive from Paradise of the mermaids.
Paradise of the mermaids is 15 minutes drive to Barra De Navidad.

Barra de Navidad
A lovely little town situated on a sandbar in a large bay on the coast of Jalisco (Costa Alegre). A long curving beach extends the full length of the town and continues across neighboring Melaque. The southern end of the sandbar ends at the Malecon. On the east side of the sandbar is the Laguna de Navidad and canals have been built to service the hotel Cabo Blanco as well a number the homes. The streets are paved with cobblestones and bricks and any are sectioned off for pedestrians only or reduce the traffic used. There are many numerous hotels, restaurants and small shops. On the lagoon side there are numerous fishing boats for rent and you can take a tour of the bay, there also water taxis available for the trip across the lagoon to Isla Navidad or the village of Colimilla, the famous and exclusive Wyndham Grand Bay Hotel is located across the lagoon and can be reached by water taxi. There is also a dirt airstrip just outside of the town. A mile of north is the small town of Jaluco on highway 200. Two miles to the west is Melaque and Cuastecomates, to the east is Cihuatlan.
The town is served by several bus lines with multiples daily departures. The people are really friendly mix of foreigners and Mexican national and there is plenty potential for growth, there is no need for cabs in Barra you can walk everywhere.
The Climate
During the winter months in Isla Navidad ranges from 75-82 degrees F during the day while nights are about 10 degrees cooler. In summer, temperatures are slightly warmer 5-10 degrees but when it rains every 4-5 days cools everything off and leaves the lush tropical foliage green and clean.
